I Love Indonesian Music !!
You always go back to your roots….regardless on how long you have stayed abroad, somehow it is always a comfort to find something familiar to home…and that is what I get when I listen to Indonesian music…It just reminds me of home, how things are…although it makes me sad sometimes coz it also made me miss home….
I am currently listening to the tunes of Andien, a very talented lady who sings beautifully….when she first started singing, she was more on the jazz line…but this last album of her is surprisingly more of a pop with a touch of jazzy beat…I love it though…it has a mix of beautiful songs..well I'm not a fan of slow songs…I need fast beat songs once in a while to keep my eyes open at work…
Another album that I'm listening to is the soundtrack of a movie "cinta silver" which basically translates to "silver love"…dun ask me what it means…I'm still trying to guess till now…but the soundtrack is awesome..Glenn played around by composing a couple of english songs and it ain't that bad at all…My sis say that in this album Glenn is like the indonesian version of John Mayer.
The last album I'm hooked on is from a bad that is quite new…they play jazz music…and I just loveeee jazz music, they are called Maliq & d'Essentials…I think they appear in Indonesia music inducstry this year…or mebbe end last year. The first song from them that I listen to is called "Hadirmu" which is just awesome….I totally love it the moment I heard it…They were actually here a month back, they were invited to be the guest star of IAF (Indonesian Arts Festival), it's a pity I missed the show…
I hope that the Indonesian music industry can always produce good albums like the ones I mentioned :)
hunting for the perfect digicam...
There's no such thing as the perfect digicam...there's always something that you don't like...e.g. the size too big, image quality not very good, too pricey. Basically finding the right, not perfect...but right, digicam for you takes requires a lot of consideration, for example size, image quality, zoom capability, speed shutter, features and price.
Last weekend me and my husband went on a hunt for our 2nd digicam last weekend...since we are going on a holiday trip, we want to be able to capture beautiful pics which unfortunately my current ixus v3 is unable to do. Well actually we have been sourcing for a camera since a couple of weeks back but couldn't really decide on what type of camera we actually need. So finally we went to Funan, and found a couple of cameras that we like...

Panasonic Lumix FZ5All of the above cameras have similar specs i.e. 5mp, 12x optical zoom (the main factor that attract us),image stabilizer(another good x factor). Based on our research from
dpreview and
cnet, we learn that out of those 3 cameras...canon has the best movie mode, it can zoom in and out while taking the movie whereas sony has the biggest screen though the resolution is the same as the smaller screens in canon and panasonic. As for panasonic, it has the best continuous photo taking. In terms of image quality, all three didn't excel...meaning noise appears for higher ISO and it's not really that superb, but with an ultra zoom like an SLR and a price like normal digicam, who can complain?
Anyways, after the long and winded research...we finally decided to get....a PANASONIC LUMIX FZ5...for reasons that their image quality not bad, size is the smallest amongst the 3 (canon is just too bulky and heavy), panasonic comes in a black color which look so much better than the silver one, a lot of friends suggested not to get sony, sony memory stick too expensive while panasonic uses sd card which is more common and most importantly...it's the cheapest one of the lot! Hehehe....Since all the features are too similar and image quality only slight differences, the main factor that we consider is price, storage and size.
Now I just need to find a good compact and small camera which has normal zoom but produces better pics than my ixus v3..hahaha...=D

stupid brainless suicide bomber...
i am sad to look at the news, my beloved hometown was hit by yet another bomb chain last night...i don't understand...i still can't understand...why would people do inhuman act...killing innocent lives, just for a mere statement of what.."hey we're here...look at us ?" i say these people are just some stupid brainless who stupidly volunteer to be a suicide bomber...but the biggest fool of all is the person who plan the whole thing !! i know i shouldn't hate them..that's not what i was taught... i was taught to love and spread the love to other people, i was taught to forgive....forgive other people...i wish to God that He keep a lookout for those victims... and also pray that somehow the people who is responsible can be caught but at the same time they should also feel the remorse of the ruthless act they have done...
