quarter century life
well okay...my birthday pass by like 2 weeks ago, but still i've got to pen this down and since i haven't had the time so this will be my first post as a person who has lived for a quarter century !!
so let's see....after 25 years what have i achieved :
1. finish school, got a degree
2. found a nice man, got married
3. found a good job, still working
4. have friends around me that cares bout me
5. have a family that will always be there
6. have made a new family, the in-laws..
7. and last but not least...found Him through him...
i think i have accomplish a lot in 25 years, no regrets....just a feeling of content, thankful and loved....thank you everyone who has contributed or made a mark in my life...
Phuket Trip
Finally last week we went for our so called honeymoon, well we didn't intend it to be honeymoon...it's more of a holiday break. Anyways…phuket is beautiful !! It has beautiful beaches…altho I must admit, pas pertama kali gue sampe aga kecewa…was expecting something like bali…lebih well developed, tapi tnyata masih sangat ndeso skali deh tempatnya….the place that I stayed in is something more like bungalows rather than hotels…but it's niceee….quite secluded but still near to the beach…Lucu juga sih, karena tempat gue itu on a hilly area, ato lebih kaya tebing gituh, jadiny aklo mo naek ke kamar hotel dari lobby itu quite a steep walk, jadi itu hotel provide a buggy ride, ato mobil yg buat ngangkut org around the hotel…so if wanna go to the beach or to a nearby area can also ask them to drive u…hehehe…Then, I didn't try the jacuzzi…karena tnyata agak2 kotor deee…which is a bit dissapointing, but then the hotel itself was nice so I didn't complain….
Okay, so that's the hotel….first day I spent on the beach…the hotel I stayed is near a beach called Surin beach…which is a nice place coz not so crowded as Patong (known as Phuket's 'Kuta') and the beach is just beautiful…played in the sea….niceeee…one thing good is that eventho itu public beaches, tapi banyak kursi2 buat yg kaya di pinggir kolam gitu ama umbrellas…so u can just pick one, then ada org yg emang kerjaannya buat ngebersihin kursi2 itu….dia bakal bersihin trus baru kita pake…which is kinda nice…and it's free !!
After going to the beach, we then decided to rent a motorbike…hahaha…coz the streets in Phuket are so narrow and berkelok2…jadinya naek motor lebih gampang (peter yg drive..not me)…trus yah malemnya kita coba ke Patong, yg 20 mins ride away dari Surin…that was already like 6 pm…and kita dinner disana so pas balik itu udah gelap…trus jalannya ituuuhhh ada beberapa tempat yg gelap gulita…gue yg serem gituh…so we decided it was not such a good idea to ride all the way from our hotel to Patong…it's just too long and tiring…
Second day, we went for a full day tour to Phi phi island and nearby islands….go for snorkling and swimming on the beach…rada2 lepek sih badan…abisnya kan since morning udah kena sea water tapi ga bisa mandi ampe end of day pas tournya kelar….but I gotta say, phuket has lovely islands….byk tebing2 gituh…and the beaches are just awesome….white sands…clear sea….and I got sun burn !! Skarang gue jadi kelam banget deh kulitnyaaa….=( Musti mengurung diri nih demi kulit memutih kembali..
Third day, kita pagi2 jalan2 sekitar hotel lagi naek motor….trus afternoon pergi ke Patong lagi…dan kali ini lebih pinter…naek shuttle yg dari hotel…And we realize pas pertama kali ke Patong itu kita tnyata Cuma sampe ujungnya patong yg relatively sepi…soalnya turns out patong itu lumayan gede…en rame…ada Mcdonals, Subway etc….ngingetin gue ma Kuta banget dah pokoknya…one thing I don't like is the beach being too near to the road…jadinya very crowded….i like serene beaches….hehehe….trus yg namanya WTS mah banyak banget…everywhere…ampe gue risih…En another thing that kinda dissapoints me…disana ituh kayanya culture wise not very strong…there's not much thing yg bs dibeli which signifies Phuket…it's just normal things which you can find in any beaches…makanya gue juga ga beli apa2 tuh slama disana…
So if u wanna go there, u must really love the beach and must be able to enjoy the beach coz that's the essence of Phuket…
