first claim in 6 months
In my first company...I went on a 2 years streak without taking a single MC, in this new company, I went on a 6 months streak without having to stay late and making taxi/meal claim.
Yesterday, I ended my streak coz I was doing some data migration exercise and because of that I had to stay until 10.30 in office, which is the longest I've ever stayed so far...and took cab home, which of course I'm gonna claim later on...
I hope now that I have started makin claims, I don't make it a habit...or in another words, I hope this doesn't become a start of working late episodes and staying late in office, having dinner at plaza sing....ahhh...noooo....dun wanna make my life depressing...sigh, but no choice...this is working life, just gotta live with it...
it was a wild night...
Last friday our company had an annual dinner party...I had picture it was gonna be like a normal dinner and dance other companies usually have...boy, was i wrong !! turns out the night became more of an annual drinking party rather than dinner...We had it at the forbidden city club at clarke quay...with some food (very moderate quantity) but lots and lots of booze...there was almost a free flow of champagne, wine, beer, bourbon coke, gin tonic, etc... It was just crazy !! Of course people like me... I don't drink much...I just had 2 champagne plus a glass of red wine...lotsa juice though, to hydrate myself...But the downside of the whole night is that none of us got the lucky draw prize...there was some good prizes...from ipod nano, nokia phone, O2 phone to big prizes such as tickets to melbourne and grand prize was a 42" plasma tv !! And with dissapointment i left right after they announce the plasma tv winner...knowing it's not me...sigh...dream onnn !!
